This was my second screen print project. I was inspired by the artist Felipe Pantone's designs. I created this for an employee art show. At the time I had recently lost my mother to lung cancer. I titled the piece traversing chaos. It is a reminder that even while darkness surrounds us we must work hard to bring forth our inner light. I made things a bit complicated because I used two screens, one for the pattern and one for the bolt of light. It took around 40 tries to get a couple prints I was happy with!
